Nexeed Image Update V1

Hello, 

We have to update the Nexeed Image on some lines, running on V1,  to the image version 2.22, and we have some problems on some PLC's, that when we put the new hard disk, and the image stick is not booting, and it is remaining blocked ( see picture attached 'HmiPlcFrozen' ). We have tried changing the USB port and also the image stick, but with no succes. We have compared the Boot settings from the BIOS, with a running PLC, and they are the same.

Please check the attached pictures for more details! 

If anyone has an ideea what can be the problem, please share, or maybe something else that we should check.

On the picture "HMIPLCFrozen" you can see that not our image is install on the PLC.

The picture on the desktop ist the original from Rexroth.

Install image is very easy. You start from image stick and press the green button in the middle.

Waht i see in the picture "PLC_used" you used a Samsug EVO SSD.

In the past many customers have problems with this SSD.

I know that this not work with Rexroth VPB 40.4.

As I see you have a new VPB40.4.
Use can use a V2 image and deploy with OES/V1, because the old RAT service is still used.
One thing you have to do is to switch to TwinCAT 3.1.4024.x. Otherwise if you download older 4020 projects to a 4024 plc persistent data handling will not work.

this is not correct.

The VPB 40.4 is a pc with Win 7 license.

If you install a Control plus V2 image on this IPC, you must buy a Win 10 license seperate.

we sell our image sticks without a Windows license. This license must already be present on the IPC.
