The xFC peripheral by Bosch Connected Industry only has a drive interface, so I think there is no alternative than the Nexeed drive object (beside programming something new by your own).
The latest Application Guideline includes some examples how to exclude an unit from the cancel etc. Keep in mind that the unit will then never be stopped automatically - also not in case of emergency stop.
