AES-D-BC-ECAT Gen2 - Voltage UA should be OFF error throwing a CANCEL

    Hello,

I'm developing a sequence of changeover, which requires the operator to open the door in one of the sequence steps.

We have an Air Treatment Unit from Aventics, according to the standard (AES-D-BC-ECAT Gen2 peripheral).

When the sequence gets to the door opening step, the control goes OFF, and it gets cancelled due to the following error:

Is there any way of getting rid of this error?

    Thank you in advance.

You have to check your EPLAN:

Does K986/K987 logic (which is also switching the safety valve K086/K087) switch off U_A voltage of the valve system?

    • If yes => check your wiring or safety logic (PNOZmulti, TwinSAFE, etc.)
    • If no => do not connect this AES channel to SafetyValveAddon.

No, it does not switch off U_A voltage.

As you suggested, I tried to disconnect the AES channel to SafetyValveAddon, however, CPS exports an error pragma line to TwinCAT:

For which pressure level (German: DruckNiveau) do you use the SafetyValve add-on? DN10, DN11, DN12?

And which Performance Level (PLc, PLd, PLe) do the pneumatic movements have ?

The SafetyValve add-on is designed to monitor either two physical safety valves or one physical safety valve + Aventics U_A voltage (see PDF in documentation):

The latest Bosch Norm N54 D2 actually allows a new setup.

Do you have such a use case?

If yes, the current solution would be to use a BinIo flag for the second parameter IsValve2Off.
