So can I claim this Mpad then as defective? Since the touch is working if windows has started I find it difficult to claim a non-working touch input. Also the set-up description is not 100% clear if I have to use USB port replicator or not. And as you also noticed: the image seems to work in many cases without an external keyboard

Hello, is it generally possible to run an image update on an active MPad without an external keyboard? I currently have a hot-plug MPad from 09/22 where the screen with the runtime selection does not respond to any input on the touch screen (if I start the MPad without the image stick the touch reacts, so it is not broken). I managed to to run image updates on other MPads without having to connect an external keyboard and just use the touch screen instead to start the image update (push the green arrow) The engineering guide in CpS says that I have to connect keyboard + Image stick - is this always mandatory or are there cases where the Image stick is enough?

Are there known dependencies concerning image versions for hot-plug mPads? E.g. can I run a Nexeed V2 mPad with image version 10.15 on an IPC which is running with image version 10.32 ? Both have the same runtime installed.

Hello, I was expecting that I can use the new Backup/Restore feature in CpS5.8(.4) to send a HMI user configuration from the development laptop to the target system with one click. However the HMI is not closed when I use the "-> HMI user configuration" button, so the data is not updated since the HMI is still running. If I close the HMI first by hand (in a different view), then send the data to the target system via the Backup/Restore dialog I get the updated configuration when I restart the HMI (again in a different view in CpS). Is my expectation or understanding of the feature wrong or should the "-> HMI user configuration" button actually handle everything (HMI closing / data transfer / HMI restart) ?

Then I have to report an issue, in my case the TcXaeShell is not displayed during the export if I open OES and TcXaeShell independently / manually. Is there a way how to fix that?
