ViewRequest and StatusPage in HMI 5.x

Hello,

I would like to ask how to use ViewRequest to show the Status page, if possible. Or, if I should use only Machine views with ViewRequest.

I would like to show the Status page when thge automatic cycle starts. I have found that if I put the name of a status tile that I have created (for examply 'MyTile', the status page containing 'MyTile' is shown, but there is a side effect: the Function title on the top flashes (black/yellow text). I would like to avoid having the flashing text.

I will check if we can improve this in a future version.

I guess a good workaround would be to clear the ViewRequest variable after a second or so. The blinking should stop when the tile is not requested anymore.

Maybe I am misunderstanding you, but you can find the code exactly in the place shown in SteffenR-'s screenshot. The first step sets the view request, the second one resets it after half a second.

By the way: The blinking misbehavior has been fixed in Control plus HMI V5.8.3: Now, the Functions tab doesn't blink anymore when requesting a status tile. Instead, when leaving the status page while the status tile is being requested, the status tab will blink.
