Using CollectSupportData with older ControlPlusStudio Versions 5.x

We want to prepare older Projects to use the Collect Support Data function.

I know that the Button in the ControlPlusStudio is only available in 5.8, but in one of the last Insight sessions it was said, that this function can also be used in older Versions. Then it has to be started with a batch file.

Can we use in our Projects with Control Plus Studio V5.4 and V5.6 the IPC 5.8 file?

Sorry for the late reply! The answer is simple: Yes, you can!

After that, CollectSupportData.Bat is available in the <Station>\Targets folder. If there is only one target system in the project, you can just double-click the batch file. Otherwise, please drag the nxhc file of the target system and drop it onto the batch file.
