Ctrlx 02VRS+ CPS compatibility

Hi all!

I will use ctrlX in my next control plus project, with MES@AE 1.1.4.0 libraries.

My question would be, which Ctrlx version should I order for that. Is Version 2.6 comaptible with CPS5.9, or should I use 1.20 instead?

CpStudio 5.9 works with both ctrlX versions, although we will officially support 02V06 only with the next update release which is planned for October. The release will also include a new catalog with the order numbers for 02V06 controllers. I.e., at the moment we can only deliver 01VRS controllers. Nevertheless, we encourage everyone to use the new version.

Additional hint: An update from ctrlX 1.20 (01V20) to 2.6 (02V06) requires a new (update) license. Therefore wait until 2.6 is available if possible.

The PLC project itself can be easily updated from ctrlX engineering 1.20 to 2.6.

This type we not longer delivered. But you can start ordered the new 02VRS.

Thank you for your detailed information. Our project is quite urgent. The following rexroth configuration is working with V1, I hope. Nexeed S license is included.
