Hi Philipp, I can not answer the question directly and have to double check with my hardware colleagues. Just my first Idea (and this is maybe not everything what has to be taken into account!), is that I see two critical points: 1.) The Barometric Air Pressure Sensor part in the BME280, he measures the airpressure "outside" compaired to a inside "reference" Airpressure in a closed chaimber. If you increase the "outside" airpressure the "membrane" between these caimber and the outside my fail / brake. As a result the Sensor is possible damaged / destroid / afterwards less accurate / measuring wrong /... 2.) The Battery inside is maybe "pressed" together by the airpressur. Mechanical impacts / force to batteries is never a good idea! But I'll try to clarify. BR Michael
