First of all sorry for the late reply! About the difference between stopper and separator: There is a mechanical difference between the two. A separator consists of two pins working together like a rocker. That way the timing is less relevant and it is always guaranteed exactly one carrier passes the separator when moving it back and forth once. A stopper is just one pin that allows any number of carriers to pass through while it is open. About the documentation: Thanks for the hint. We will fix this translation error in a future version. "Query" should just be carrier detection (by the SAt/SOn sensor). There is no way to let this object automatically handle the separation without starting any command. But there is an alternative approach: The objects belonging to the transfer system (i.e. the NexeedTrs... objects) are designed for automatic wpc handling based on standardized transfer node types. Now about PKlein's answer: I am sorry I have to disappoint you, but there are no activities going on concerning this object. A colleague does remember there were some discussions about the object, but there has never been a commitment to start any development. This must be a misunderstanding. CPS21 evo was the internal project name for the development of the VPP21. So, the bat files containing evo refer to the VPP21, the other ones to the CPS21 hardware. When using the VPB40 with HMI classic, the VPP21 (evo) files are used as well. Another important difference apart from the hardware is the version of HMI classic. Std\Vis\Cps21.exe V2.x requires Evo batches, V1.x the old ones. At least that's what I remember almost 20 years later... 😉

I haven't seen this error yet, but it may be related to some assembly being blocked by Windows because it was originally downloaded from an untrusted source. In that case, you will see an additional checkbox in the properties of the exe or dll file: Sorry for the German screenshot, but the relevant checkbox is in the same place on English Windows. If the file is not blocked, the text and checkbox in the red frame isn't visible at all. Please check all exe and dll files in your HMI folder and underneath the Apps subfolder (especially ATD, because that seems to cause the problems) and unblock them. You should also check this on your development computer, where the Apps folder is located in the <Station>\HMI folder, because the blocked state is also transferred to the target system when deploying.
