We have many reasons to celebrate our 4.0 release. We hope you enjoy it!
(1) The Bosch Developer Portal and its community are now available for users in nine additional countries.
The platform is now available in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, USA, France, Belgium, Netherlands,
Luxemburg, Denmark, Spain, Portugal, Poland and Hungary. Developers from these selected countries
are able to participate in our community, engage with our
products and subscribe to our services. All other countries worldwide are able to access the platform's
static content.
The Bosch Developer Portal Team is always expanding the list of available countries, so stay tuned!
(2) New for IoT enthusiasts! You can now access the Bosch Smart Thermostat via APIs.
Developers are able to register an EasyControl of Bosch Smart Thermostat device (hardware purchase
required) and use the Bosch Thermotechnology Device API to access a room's real-time temperature among other things.
Compliance
The Bosch Developer Portal Terms of Use, Data Protection Notice, Software as a Service Terms (SaaS) and
Use Policy have all been updated in this release. See all updated documents.
Fixes
- Minor bug fixes and performance enhancements have been made to the platform.
