Bosch Font missing in Control plus HMI designer

When working with the HMI designer in Control plus Studio, the Font property shows Microsoft Sans Serif instead of Bosch Sans Regular or Bosch Sans Bold.

Reason

The Bosch corporate fonts were automatically updated by Bosch central software deployment SCCM. (So this only applies to computers managed by Bosch.) The new Bosch Font is just called Bosch Sans, so the old Font names are not found on the system anymore and Microsoft Sans Serif is used as fallback.

Solution

Installing any version of Control plus Studio or repairing a present installation adds the old fonts, again. After that, the behavior in the HMI designer is back to normal.

Remark

Working with the new font is currently not a solution as it is not present on the target system.

Beim Arbeiten im HMI-Designer in Control plus Studio zeigt die Font-Eigenschaft neuerdings Microsoft Sans Serif anstelle von Bosch Sans Regular oder Bosch Sans Bold.

Ursache

Die Bosch Corporate-Fonts wurden automatisch von der zentralen Softwareverteilung SCCM aktualisiert. (Dies tritt also nur auf von Bosch verwalteten Computern auf.) Der neue Bosch-Font heißt Bosch Sans, also werden die alten Font-Namen nicht mehr gefunden und Microsoft Sans Serif wird als Fallback verwendet.

Lösung

Bei der Installation einer beliebigen Version von Control plus Studio oder durch Reparieren einer vorhandenen Installation werden die alten Fonts wieder hinzugefügt. Anschließend verhält sich der HMI-Designer wieder wie gewohnt.

Bemerkung

Zur Zeit kann nicht mit dem neuen Font gearbeitet werden, da dieser auf dem Zielsystem nicht vorhanden ist.
