cannot close the HMI

today I'm not able to deploy the HMI. The HMI actually closes but when I try to deploy the new configuration from CPS, the deploy process always fails.

On the HMI display I can see that the interface is closed but the batch command is stuck with the "waiting for Opcon.Hmi.Modulo finished".

This happens when the HMI is closed by CPS but also when I close the HMI manually with Alt-F4.

I cannot find Opcon.Hmi process in the Task manager.

Have you checked the "Details" tab in the task manager? The OpCon.HMI.Modulo.exe process must be there, otherwise the deployment would continue.

Was the HMI in a normal operating state before trying to deploy or was it stuck in the splash screen with an error message?

We have addressed this problem and the deployment batches will be improved in the next version of the NXTC file. With the new version, the HMI process will be killed after a timeout of 10 seconds if it does not terminate gracefully.

I didn't check the Detail windows, my fault.

Now I killed manually the application from the Detail windows  and I can deploy it.

By the way, the HMI was working normally when I tried to deploy the new configuration.
