V2 hot-plug mPad license

Hello together

I want to set up my mPad as an hot-plug mPad for Nexeed V2. After setting it up guided by instruction, HMI is starting but with the message no license.

System is running with the L license and in the main HMI anything is fine.

How can I activate the license on the mPad?

After trusting the mPad on the plc security manager, license message disappeared.

Does the hot-swappable mPad of Nexeed V1 also require a license?

The mPad does not require a separate license. The HMI license is included in the Control plus license you need for the PLC system. In Control plus V2, each HMI instance asks the license server at the PLC if the system is licensed. In Control plus V1, there is no license enforcement, i.e., the HMI does not check the license. Nevertheless, you also need a license for each PLC, just as with V2.
