IPG YLS Laser SafetyOpen error

Hello,

I am trying to debug a SafetyOpen error that appears sometimes during the first run in automatic mode, that is coming from the Atmo1EcIpgYLS library.

EVENT_ECIPGYLS_SAFETY_OPEN

Anyone knows where the conditions for this SafetyOpen signal are defined? Is it on laser device side? I am a bit confused 😄

"Atmo1" or "ATMOx" objects are not provided and supported by Bosch Connected Industry. If nobody is responsing here, try to contact the support email of the object/peripheral that you can see in the Object Browser or by opening the OOD file with Notepad.

There is no general statement possible. The SafteyOpen signal comes directly from the laser hardware itself. It is affected by internal signals of the laser or the issue can come from an external saftey circuit. The external circuit is just one input signal of the laser and can include many signals in series or parallel connection, so you have to know the machine or the electrical circuit to find the missing signals that are needed close the saftey circuit.
