CpS 5.8.4 Backup/Restore feature for HMI user configuration transfer not working as expected

Hello, I was expecting that I can use the new Backup/Restore feature in CpS5.8(.4) to send a HMI user configuration from the development laptop to the target system with one click. However the HMI is not closed when I use the "-> HMI user configuration" button, so the data is not updated since the HMI is still running. If I close the HMI first by hand (in a different view), then send the data to the target system via the Backup/Restore dialog I get the updated configuration when I restart the HMI (again in a different view in CpS).

Is my expectation or understanding of the feature wrong or should the "-> HMI user configuration" button actually handle everything (HMI closing / data transfer / HMI restart) ?

Your expectations are indeed too high concerning this feature. This dialog doesn't do anything else but copying files.
