Hello comunity,
I have a VPB40 with a class L license. As far as I know, this license is sufficient for a VPB40, however I get the following error:
"The performance class of the control plus license is insufficient for detected hardware!"
I am using the following versions:
-CPS v5.8.4
-LicenseServer v1.2.2.0
I have searched but I can't find any information about the different performance levels. Does anyone know where I could find this information? Is it possible that a higher performance license needs to be used with VPB40?
We have several stations on the line with very similar HW and I only have this problem on one of the stations.
Thanks in advance!

Control plus L license is correct for VPB 40.4.
Can you delete on the IP under
C:\NexeedLocal\Licenses the folder with the ID from your Liecense dongel.
After that please start the license management workflow from new and deploy the license on the IPS.

This is a wrong error message that may occur after an HMI failed to return the license after checking it. We have changed the way the HMI accesses the license in V5.9.1, so this error does not occur anymore.
With older HMIs, you have to reset the trusted storage of the local license server on the target system as @Düscha wrote.
Important: After deleting the folder from C:\NexeedLocal\Licenses, you need to restart the target system and run the licensing workflow afterwards.
