I might made some mistake in the XDK program and it was not able to connect to workbench anymore. Whenever I tried connecting, it kept switching between the connected and disconnected mode within a second.
I followed the guide: https://community.developer.bosch.com/t5/Technical-Support-Read-only/Force-reset-XDK/td-p/11885
- By simultaneously pressing button 1 and reset (using on/off buttons) XDK device, it goes to bootloader mode. In bootloader mode you can see red and yellow led glowing.
- Connect com port using teraterm, hterm or any other SWs
- Issue a command i to read bootloader version and e to erase flash area and then disconnect com port from teraterm
After I issued the commmand 'e' in tera term to erase the flash area, the XDK started showing the Green, Orange and Red LED. The 'rapidly connect and disconnect problem' is gone, but now the PC only identifies a COM device and does not detect that it is the XDK. Therefore, it isn't detected by the workbench either.
Does anyone know what can be done about this problem?
Please see the news and new contact below, thank you!
