I stumbled today on some sort of bug whenever I try to export a CPS Project (V5.5). I was adding manually some EtherCAT modules, and while doing the Peripherals tree, when it came time to export i stumbled upon this error:
Bosch.OpCon.Template.TemplateException: Error during execution of template
Std\Objects\NexeedInputWaitAddon\V1.2\Views\Overview.sfc ! ---> System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
Although I realised what was at fault ( not assigning any slots for a BIS V-6110-063-C002 module ), the error keeps appearing even after the changes are done.
Eventually, I had to redo the whole peripherals section in a separate project to get rid of the errors.
So I guess this is both a heads-up for a bug in CPS, as well as a question to whether there is a more simple way to get rid of the error once it pops without re-doing the whole project.
