Hello, I would like to develop a service that can predict a system for a given vehicle. Appart from the information-options provided on the API, I need spesific information about the vehicles (only cars for this purpose) such as the number of cylinders and the fuel mixture.
Working on one of your software named ESI TRONIC 2.0 I found that this kind of spesific data is provided.
1) Is there a way for the given API (Vehicle Identification Service) to serve these needs (number of cylinders and fuel mixture)?
2) Is the API free for production usage or is there a pricing plan that comes with a threshold or usage rate?
Thanks, in advance

Hello,
to 1.) the API service (Vehicle Identification Service) has the option to filter the car type (veh_kind) as well es fuel type (fuel_type) as standard select criteria within the VI service. Cylinder could be provided as selection criteria, result criteria or just an information within the answer of the service. Our suggestion would be to use the cylinder information as result criteria.
to 2.) there is a pricing plan that comes with a usage rate.
If you have any more questions or want to test or register to the service please do not hesitade to contact us.
