Hello,
just now I noticed a behavior in the object browser (1.6.2.3). When I look at Object Details, it only shows the Ports, Parameters, Commands, Manual functions of *that* object but not of its BaseRefIds. I notice this because I have a ModbusUniversalBase which I use for modbus peripherals. It defines the Modbus Port and some other parameter already. Then in my device specific object, I obviously do not define those again. In the object browser I can then not see that it has the modbus interface, making finding the object more difficult. Also, when inspecting the object details I only see a part of the object content.
Since the Object Browser knows about the dependencies, it should be possible without overwhelming effort to include the parent object information in the details page.
In the overview table I am also using the SW interface column, which is also missing my IModbus interface in the derived object.
Do you think this is worth fixing in a future update of the object browser?
